FINALLY IT'S DONE.
I spent DAYS on this piece and it sure was worth it!
As I rush to finish my prints before next Friday, this one was actually a piece that I haven't planned from the start - namely because the season finale hadn't aired before then! But of course, it was too memorable an episode to leave out of the line-up!
This piece was heavily inspired by the Big and Loud (Reprise) sequence of one of my favorite animated films,
Cats Don't Dance. I loved the idea of the hearts theme scattered throughout the scene, so I incorporated it in the ground/rock and some of the green flames.
I also used this piece to get more experience with lighting, and I certainly am proud of it!
Surprisingly though, between Chrysallis and Cadance, Cadance is incredibly annoying to draw - from her ridiculous hair to her super detailed cutie mark (that you can't even see behind Shining Armor!).

Cats Don't Dance is one of my favorite movies - and MLP is one of my favorite shows! - so Lauren Faust just became ten times more amazing in my book! xD
Watch World Wide Wabbit because she wrote the entire episode and it's the best ever!
Galaxy Girls rock because they're like the Powerpuff girls and MLP combined!
