They'll Never Know What Hit 'Em

FINALLY IT'S DONE. I spent DAYS on this piece and it sure was worth it!
As I rush to finish my prints before next Friday, this one was actually a piece that I haven't planned from the start - namely because the season finale hadn't aired before then! But of course, it was too memorable an episode to leave out of the line-up!

This piece was heavily inspired by the Big and Loud (Reprise) sequence of one of my favorite animated films, Cats Don't Dance. I loved the idea of the hearts theme scattered throughout the scene, so I incorporated it in the ground/rock and some of the green flames.
I also used this piece to get more experience with lighting, and I certainly am proud of it!

Surprisingly though, between Chrysallis and Cadance, Cadance is incredibly annoying to draw - from her ridiculous hair to her super detailed cutie mark (that you can't even see behind Shining Armor!).
